Diapers Deal - $10 plus FREE shipping

I typically buy my diapers when they go on sale and I use my coupons. I don't like paying full price...diapers aren't cheap!

I learned about a good deal on diapers from Diapers.com. It's for new customers only...here are the details:

* Go to Diapers.com and add $49 worth of diapers (or other items) to your cart. You need it to be at least $49 so that you can get free shipping.
* If you choose diapers that have an eCoupon, make sure you click on it so that the coupon will apply to your order.
* When you checkout, enter promo code ANNS3709 for $10.00 off your order.
* You will need to print your receipt (to turn in with the rebate).
* Then then print and submit this form for a $14.97 rebate (read instructions on how to submit and what is required).
I didn't see any expiration date on the form so it should go through.

I prefer Pampers (everything else leaks for us), so...with the $10 off and the $14.97 rebate, I paid $29.01 for 241 diapers. PLUS, they are being delivered directly to my front door!

Oh, and don't forget to go through Mr.Rebates to get to Diapers.com. You can earn an additional 1% cash back on your purchase. (New to Mr. Rebates? Sign up here and you will automatically get $5 in your account!)

This is a great deal and I love that I can shop at home and have the diapers delivered to my door!

Cereal & Giveaway

My family loves cereal! We even have a special night each week designated as "cereal night". If you look in our pantry, we always have at least 5 different boxes of cereal. When I buy cereal, I look at price, taste, and sugar. The price has to be good, the taste has to be great and I don't want the cereal to contain a lot of sugar!

General Mills announced in late 2009 a commitment to further reduce sugar in cereals advertised to kids under 12 to single digit grams of sugar per serving. The company has already been reducing sugar in cereals while increasing key nutrients, such as calcium and vitamin D, and providing whole grain.

The people from General Mills (through MyBlogSpark) sent me some interesting facts on ready-to-eat cereals.
Did you know that ready-to-eat cereal eaters consume less fat, less cholesterol and more fiber than non-cereal eaters? Cereals also deliver important vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients, making cereal a top source of key nutrients in children’s diets.

Other cereal benefits:
*Ready-to-eat cereals, including presweetened cereals, account for only 5% of sugar in children’s diets.
*Ready-to-eat cereal is the No. 1 source of whole grains in a child’s diet today.
*More frequent cereal eaters tend to have healthier body weights and lower Body Mass Index measures.

General Mills (through MyBlogSpark) also sent me some coupons to try out these cereals....and I would like to share one of these coupons with you.
